Google, Planning To Launch TV Service

google-TVThe most admired search engine Google is scheduling to extend its reach among its viewers. They are on a verge to start TV service to bring the Web to TV screens. In the initial phase they will launch it in USA and subsequently within a year they will present it to World audience. However Americans can view it from this month only.

The service will allow full Internet browsing via television, it would be free, and Google would work with a range of program producer and electronic firm to bring it to customers.

According to CEO Eric Schmidt “We will work with content providers, but it is very unlikely that we will get into actual content production.”
The deal between Sony and Google has been finalized and deal with Samsung is on commencing stage. Sony is ready to load application of Google TV on its gadgets and its competitor Samsung on is on a verge to launch the service.

The statement comes within a week once competitor Apple uncovered its newest Apple TV product and will exaggerate a clash for client’s consideration for the $180 billion worldwide TV marketing advertises.

Schmidt also said Google would proclaim joint venture later this year with manufacturer of tablet computers that would use Google’s Chrome operating system, due to be launched soon, pretty than its Android phone software, which has been used for mobile devices until now.
California based company “The Mountain View”, is planning to make Chrome, which will compete with Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla’s Firefox, the centre of an operating system that would offer a substitute to Microsoft Windows.

The world’s No 1 search engine is tracking for new income prospect as growth in its core Internet selling slows and as new technologies such as smart phones and social networking services alter the way consumers access the Web.

When asked about condemnation over Google’s Street View in Germany, CEO Schmidt said he had estimated and accounted it and he had talks with some authorized members of the German government.

Google’s Street View cars are popular for crisscrossing the orb and captivating panoramic pictures of the city streets, which the corporation displays in its online Maps product.

Columnist and critics say the device encourage maltreatment. They squabble on the fact that thieves can explore or mark the idea of burglary, safety measures firms could use the data for sales pitches, professionals might find their homes examined by corporation and business houses, and banks could look over the abode of loan claimant.

The problem came to the Google when Germany government found out that Street View vehicles were collecting confidential data and later sent over unencrypted WiFi networks.
