There has been a terrible downpour in the entire valley since Sunday. This has brought down the temperature to several degrees Celsius. As per the department of meteorology, there is a lot of activity of the western disturbances. As per the predictions of the department, these disturbances will be active for another two days.

The Entire Valley Of Kashmir Is Flooded With Heavy RainsThere was a heavy down pour that started from the evening of Sunday. The rain lasted for the entire Sunday night with increment in the velocity of showers in the morning of Monday. The summer capital received the rainfall on a scale of 11.8 mm. The maximum temperature recorded was 24.9 degrees Celsius and the minimum was above 11 degrees Celsius.

There are reports of terrible rainfall across parts of north as well as the south Kashmir. Due to the heavy downpour, there has been an overflow in the drainage systems. Because of the strike by the municipal employees, the garbage collection by the side of the drains has caused a problem and has become a matter of concern. The overflow of the water has led to the drain choking.

This has caused deep inconvenience to the pedestrians across the residency road of the city. There are strong predictions by the department of meteorology that the rains may increase in intensity and can continue for a week or so. The prime benefit associated with this rainfall is the increase in crop production.
