The senior most judge of the supreme court of India justice SH kapadia was appointed as the CJI of India on Friday. He will be the 38th CJI of the nation after the independence and he will hold the charge from the 12 of May, 2010.

As per the top legal and media sources, the appointment warrant letter duly signed by the president of India, smt pratiba Devi singh patil has gone to the registry of the supreme court of India in this matter. The legal genius is the key framer of various schemes related to investment.

Justice Kapadia is also responsible for framing the schemes that are related to the valuation and the share disposal besides various other financial schemes related to banks. He has performed these duties as a judge of the special court.

As the judge of the Bombay high court and the special court, the justice solved the key issues like PIL related to the CRZ. He also dealt with various financial matters that came under the RBI and the banking regulation act.

Apart from such a wide experience, the legal expert also dealt with the constitutional validity of the 74th amendment act of 1992. This deals with the municipalities, cases of acquisitions and mergers and various cases related to the income tax act.

Justice Kapadia became the additional judge of Mumbai high court in 1991, permanent judge of the same in 1993 and CJ of Uttaranchal high court in 2003.
