The proposed drink drive limit will be reduced to a half. If the proposed limit is decreases, it will save as many as 150 lives in a single year. This will happen if you reduce the alcohol content from 80 mg to 50 mg per 100 ml of blood.
It is not however, certain that this law will be implemented by the new government. If implemented, it will be considered one of the strictest rules enforced in the UK among all the states of the European Union. This will put UK in tune with the rest of the UN.
