HONG KONG: China’s No two telecommunication equipment manufacturer firm, ZTE Corp’s sales rose by 10 % in first half of 2010, company said in a statement that the growth fueled by huge demand of smart phones from international market.
According to the company statement on Thursday, with 17 million or 60 % handsets going to international market, the firm shipped 28 million mobile phones in the first half.
The ZTE firm said in a statement that, “This is attributed to increasing demand from interantional markets and a spike in 3G usage in China and smart phone popularity worldwide.” Company launched 10 smart phones models nearly with Google Inc’s Android Operating System in the first half of 2010, in countries including Brazil, France and other markets.
